Just got this today and it is really cute. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be because I didn't really look at the size listed but it's so darn cute that I don't care what size it is. The price is reasonable for what it is. I ordered this for someone who collects mustache items and this will be a great addition to his collection. Love it!

This mustachioed fella makes a pretty nifty wall hook, plus it's of a substantial weight. And in a world replete with flower/butterfly/bird hooks, it's nice to find a whimsical piece that isn't so girly. The super flat finish stands out nicely in a sea of glossy hooks without looking too utilitarian and bland. Long live the mustache!A lot of reviewers overlooked the dimensions and were surprised at how teeny this guy is. But guess what? The hook I received IS smaller than the listed measurements. Nerd that I am, I whipped out the tape measure and sure enough, it barely made it to 3". True, a half an inch is no big deal, but I'm persnickety about accuracy; it's an already small piece crafted even smaller than claimed.Hardware isn't included but you can play around with the screw tops to give this gentleman an "iris" of any color.Though it's cast iron, I was surprised to see mine had a serious gnawed looking bit on one of the eyes--like someone scraped part of it out. Again, no biggie, but if I was giving it as a gift I'd have to return it. The piece comes boxed so I don't blame the seller/shipper, it's probably a manufacturing issue. So be aware that this kind of design, in this particular material, is not likely to look perfect each time it's cast.I mounted mine my pretty high up on the wall to use with shirt hangers; if it was at eye level, the imperfections might perturb me...but its overall charm wins out. I'm just a tad bummed it didn't meet the dimensions and arrived distractingly flawed. If not for that, it's a 5 star hook.

I didn't read the sizes and should have as this was slightly smaller than I thought it would be from the picture. It was a gift for my mustache loving daughter. She loved it but also said she wished it was bigger. She will be using it to hold her keys by the door. My bad for not paying attention to the measurements.
